Full Time  |  Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

CENTURY 21 Assurance Realty Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced Conveyancer. We offer a friendly, professional working environment with training, competitive salary, group health benefits package, and more! We have a positive, collaborative, and fast-paced culture. The primary responsibility is to perform all conveyancing activities relating to handling residential and commercial real estate sales transactions from beginning to end.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receiving, reviewing, preparing and processing documents for conveyance
  • Verifying file requirements and ensuring accurate completion of transactions
  • Review all documents submitted by Realtors® and verify that file is complete
  • Corresponding with clients, solicitors, notaries, mortgage brokers and REALTORS®
  • Preparation of commission payouts, and excess deposit cheques
  • To escalate any concerns or issues to the Managing Broker
  • Provide lunchtime phone reception duties as required

Education & Qualifications

  • Good computer and technical skills
  • Solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Minimum 2 years Real Estate Conveyancing experience ideally required
  • Familiarity with LoneWolf, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, responsible, mature with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Positive, reliable, and organized individual
  • Maintains confidentiality, works independently and is a collaborative team player
  • Possesses good time management and is deadline-oriented
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in Real Estate is an asset
  • Technically proficient with good working knowledge of Excel and Word
